Introduction
Welcome to Coheven, the first online marketplace in the Philippines that enables event planners to book venues and services with management tools all in one place. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coheven Inc. ("Coheven," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent to use Coheven's platform, both as a Planner and as a Host/Vendor.
By using the platform, you confirm that all provided information is accurate and compliant with applicable laws. You also represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
Account Registration
Users must create an account to access Coheven's services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
In case of suspicious activity or unauthorized access, you must notify Coheven immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our security policies.
Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes
- Circumvent the platform's payment system by engaging in direct transactions
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior, including harassment, offensive language, or any actions that disturb or harm the platform's integrity
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, reviews, or bookings
- Persistently cancel bookings without valid reasons. Excessive cancellations, defined as three or more without valid reason, may result in account suspension
- Use stolen credit cards or engage in fraudulent chargebacks

Responsibilities
- Hosts: Must ensure listing accuracy, venue availability, and compliance with local laws, including necessary permits and licenses
- Vendors: Must provide accurate service descriptions, fulfill bookings professionally, and disclose additional fees upfront
- Clients: Must use venues and services as agreed, follow venue rules, and pay all applicable fees promptly
- All users must communicate professionally and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Booking & Payments
Booking Process
A booking is confirmed when payment is successfully processed and both the Host and Vendor have approved the booking. All parties must honor confirmed bookings.
Pricing & Payments
- Prices must be clearly stated by Hosts and Vendors
- Clients agree to pay the listed price and disclosed fees before confirming the booking
- Payments must be processed through Coheven's approved methods, including major credit cards, GCash, and Maya
- Coheven charges a 5% fee on successful bookings, paid by the Client. Hosts and Vendors are not charged any fees
Cancellation & Refunds
- Clients may cancel bookings within 24 hours of booking confirmation for a full refund, provided the event is at least one week away
- Cancellations made less than a week before the event may result in partial or no refunds, depending on the Host or Vendor's cancellation policy
- If a Host or Vendor cancels a confirmed booking, Clients will receive a full refund
- Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days, depending on the payment method used
- Coheven is not responsible for cancellations due to force majeure events, such as natural disasters or government restrictions
Liabilities & Dispute Resolution
User Disputes
Coheven is not a party to transactions between Clients, Hosts, and Vendors, but may assist in dispute resolution at its discretion. Users must attempt to resolve disputes directly before Coheven intervenes.
Dispute Resolution & Restrictions
By using Coheven, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. To initiate a dispute resolution request, users must contact Coheven support within 7 days of the issue occurring.
Liability for Damages
Clients are responsible for damages caused to a venue or Vendor's equipment during an event. Coheven does not offer protection or insurance for damages but encourages users to secure appropriate event insurance.
Platform Usage Rules & Restrictions
Prohibited Content
- List fake or misleading event spaces or services
- Host or promote illegal events
- Communicate and transact outside Coheven after connecting on the platform
- Engage in any activity that circumvents the platform's established rules and processes
Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of uploaded content (e.g., photos, listings). Coheven may use user-uploaded content for marketing purposes, such as in promotional materials or ads.
Account Management
Account Termination by Users
You may request to terminate your account at any time. However, you remain responsible for outstanding fees, confirmed bookings, and any obligations incurred before closure. Upon deactivation, your listings will no longer be visible.
Account Termination by Coheven
Coheven may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of our Terms, including fraudulent activities or non-compliance with applicable laws. Users may appeal account suspensions within 14 days of receiving notice.
Compliance & Legal Requirements
Taxes
Hosts and Vendors are responsible for reporting their income and complying with all applicable Philippine tax regulations, including proper tax filings.
Regulatory Compliance
All users must comply with applicable Philippine laws and industry regulations related to event businesses.
Data Privacy
Coheven follows industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect user data and ensure privacy. Personal data will be deleted permanently after 30 days following account termination unless required for legal compliance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. In case of legal disputes, both parties must resolve the dispute within the jurisdiction of the Philippines.
